Nick received his B.S. in Chemistry from Metropolitan State University of Denver (2018) and his Ph.D. in Chemistry and Biochemistry from the University of Denver (2025). During his Ph.D. in Chemistry, he conducted research on implementing catalytic chain transfer in free-radical polymerizations for photopolymerization under the supervision of Prof. Brady T. Worrell. The dissertation title was “Catalytic Chain Transfer Photopolymerizations (CCTP2): Discovery, Optimization, and Application”. He is currently a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Texas at Austin, working for Dr. Zak A. Page. His research focuses on the development of porous, 3D-printable networks for metal recycling processes.
