Research: At Prairie View A&M University, Taylor worked with Dr. Yunxiang Gao on liquid crystalline elastomers for biomedical applications, and with Dr. Marco Giles on dendritic polymers for metal chelation. At a UC Berkeley REU, she worked with Dr. Brooks Abel on chemically recyclable polymer additives for adhesive debonding, and at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, she designed organometallic compounds for thermal runaway detection.
